Deodorant is used by most people everyday and most of us can’t live without it.
Unfortunately, most deodorants on the market contain toxins that are dangerous to health. Aluminum is a common ingredient used in most antiperspirants, which has been associated with breast cancer and an increased risk of Alzheimer’s disease.
Coconut oil is an excellent product to use as a base for deodorants because it kills fungi, yeasts and bacteria. Baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) helps neutralize odors, arrowroot powder helps absorb moisture and added essential oils are also antibacterial.
If you want to try this recipe, here’s how to prepare it.
